Ebruli Herbals is the business name of a privately own business run and owned by Ebru Ertem, a qualified and insured Medical Herbalist, member of NIHM (National Institute of Medical Herbalists).
Ebruli Herbals also provides acupuncture and cupping therapies.
Types of data we collect:
In accordance with data privacy regulations we store the following personal information depending on the interaction with you.
Consultations: Name, surname, date of birth, telephone number, address, as well as medical history details in order to improve your wellbeing.
Online web enquiry form: Name, e-mail address, details of enquiry, and/or health concern.
Handling of personal information:
Your personal information is collected on paper during consultations in a face to face meeting with Ebru Ertem. Prior to recording any personal details, you are requested to fill in a consent form.
If you contacted me through my website your e-mail is kept secure by a Google mail account only accessible to me on a password protected laptop with an antivirus and Windows defender software.
Subject to your consent I may store some of your personal details (Name, Surname, Telephone number, e-mail address) on my mobile phone or computer.
Your personal information is kept securely on paper records in a locked cabinet in a locked room. Your records are kept for at least 7 years following the last contact. For minors this is at least 7 years after reaching the age of majority (18) i.e. age 25.
Your personal data will not be shared with anyone without your consent.

You have a right to request Ebru Ertem to perform the following actions with regards to your personal data held on record:

- Change of your personal data, e.g. if you do not wish certain information to be kept on record or if your personal details or circumstances have changed, e.g. you have moved house or changed your telephone number
- Deleting/erasing your personal details on record
- Request to restrict or object the processing of the personal data
- The right to lodge a complaint

Your first request will be free of charge however, further requests are subject to an administration fee of £50.
